Answers usually go out within a few business days. Email is the only channel here — no contact form, no newsletter — and an address sent here is never added to a list.

Corrections come first

Korean administrative figures are revised every year, and statutes are amended more often than that. A tax bracket, a deposit guarantee ceiling, a survey average, an age limit — any of them can be correct in one year and wrong the next. If a number here no longer matches the source, that is the most useful thing you can send.

A report with these three things can usually be acted on quickly:

  • the article, and the specific figure or sentence
  • what the correct value or rule is now
  • the Korean source that shows it — a statute article, an agency notice, a KOSIS table, a published decision

Corrections sourced only to English coverage or a fan wiki get traced back to the Korean original before anything changes, and it is the original that any edit follows.

Other things worth sending

  • A scene that raised a question you could not answer. Something in a drama, a variety show, or a documentary that clearly depends on a rule you could not find explained anywhere in English. Requests of this kind shape what gets written next.
  • A rule that changed. Annual revisions move a lot of numbers at once, and a heads-up is faster than a scheduled re-check.
  • An exception that is missing. Every article carries a section on where the rule does not apply. If a condition that affects you is absent, it should be added.

What cannot be answered

This site publishes general information about published rules. It is not legal, tax, or immigration advice, and emailing it creates no professional relationship. The following cannot be answered, however the question is framed:

  • whether a rule applies to your own case, or what you should do about it
  • review of a contract, a lease, a tax filing, or a visa application
  • how much you personally would owe, receive, or be eligible for
  • questions about a specific performer's contract, taxes, military status, or private circumstances — this site writes about clauses and statutes, not about individuals
  • recommendations on what to watch, plot questions, or anything about how a story ends

For a matter that is actually yours, the administering body answers directly and a licensed professional can act on it. Each article names which agency handles the rule it covers.

Please do not send contracts, tax documents, lease agreements, identification, or anything else containing personal details. Nothing here requires them, and email is not a secure channel for them.

Rights holders

This site publishes no stills, posters, promotional images, or broadcast captures, quotes no lyrics, and does not summarize plots. If you represent a rights holder and believe something here nonetheless crosses a line, write to the address above with the article and the specific passage, and it will be reviewed promptly.

The Seven-Year Cap in Korea's Standard Idol Contract Is a Ceiling, Not a Deadline
